Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Ngare Ndare Day Trip/ Excursion

04.45hrs Meet up and pick up guests at a designated pick-up point in Nairobi. Guests will be met and assisted by our Team Leader (s) & driver, departing Nairobi for Mt. Kenya, a 4.5 hrs drive to the Mt. Kenya and Central Kenya region with sightings of the Snow, capped Mount Kenya, and the beautiful mountain ranges in the central highlands of Kenya with a stopover at Makuyu/ Sagana with a stopover at the equator for photo sessions.

We will a brief stop at the Equator where the client can take pictures at the equator or do shopping of African wear at nearby curio shops in support of the locals then depart for Ngare Ndare, in Timau, Meru County.

On arrival in Ngare Ndare Forest Reserve, have a 45-minute introduction session, team bonding fun, and games, before proceeding for a 45-60 minutes (Dependent on walking pace) hike to the waterfall accompanied by an armed ranger exploring the indigenous forest.

Enjoy a swim dip in the natural azure pools glistering at the bottom of the waterfalls and adventure into the 200-year-old trees in the forest that support a rich variety of bird and animal life.

Hike back to the reserve base for lunch, and proceed to do a canopy walk on a 40 ft. high aerial bridge of wire mesh and cables extending 450 meters long.

The walkway ends at a wooden platform 30ft. high, where you can relax and enjoy a view of the river from this elevated vantage point.

Proceed back to Misty Mountain Lodge for dinner & overnight stay, Chat time & happy hour around the bonfire

Day 2: Water Rafting Adventure in River Sagana, Central Kenya

After breakfast, explore the lodge and its amenities and the farm (If management will allow) before departing for Sagana.

Upon arrival, guests will check in and then the team will proceed for river water rafting session which should last for 1.5 – 2 hours, before returning to camp and for a barbecue lunch.

After lunch, guests have a 1.5 hrs break to do optional & self-sponsored activities or else relax and enjoy the campsite.

Head back to Nairobi arriving and dropping guests in Nairobi

NET COST:
