Itinerary
Day 1: Water Rafting Adventure in River Sagana, Central Kenya
- 06.30hrs Meet up and pick up guests at a designated pick-up point in Nairobi. Guests will be met and assisted by our Team Leader (s) & driver, departing Nairobi for Sagana, a 2.5 hrs drive to the Aberdares and Central Kenya region with sightings of the Snow, capped Mount Kenya, and the beautiful mountain ranges in the central highlands of Kenya with a stopover at Makuyu/ Sagana.
- Upon arrival, guests will be served tea and snacks before they proceed to begin the day’s activities. Divided into groups/teams, guests begin a morning river water rafting session which should last for 1.5 – 2 hours, before returning to camp and for a barbecue lunch.
- After lunch, guests have a 1.5 hrs break to do optional & self-sponsored activities or else relax and enjoy the campsite before departing for Naro Moru.
- Arrive and check-in at the hotel & proceed for dinner & overnight stay at Misty Mountain Lodge, Naromoru
- After dinner, have chat time, dancing & happy hour around the bonfire

Day 2: Ngare Ndare Day Trip/Excursion
- After breakfast, we depart for Ngare Ndare with a stopover at the equator for photo sessions
- We will a brief stop at the Equator where the client can take pictures at the equator or do shopping of African wear at nearby curio shops in support of the locals then depart for Ngare Ndare, in Timau, Meru County
- On arrival in Ngare Ndare Forest Reserve, have a 45-minute introduction session, team bonding fun, and games, before proceeding for a 45-60 minutes (Dependent on walking pace) hike to the waterfall accompanied by an armed ranger exploring the indigenous forest.
- Enjoy a swim dip in the natural azure pools glistering at the bottom of the waterfalls and adventure into the 200-year-old trees in the forest that support a rich variety of bird and animal life.
- Hike back to the reserve base for lunch, and proceed to do a canopy walk on a 40 ft. high aerial bridge of wire mesh and cables extending 450 meters long.
- The walkway ends at a wooden platform 30ft. high, where you can relax and enjoy a view of the river from this elevated vantage point.
- Proceed back to Misty Mountain Lodge for dinner & overnight stay, Chat time & happy hour around the bonfire
Dinner & overnight stay at Misty Mountain Lodge, Naromoru
Meals Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 3: Mount Kenya Hike via Sirimon Gate
- Check out of the hotel after an early breakfast proceeding for a day half-day hike in Mount Kenya National Park via Sirimon Gate.
- Hike in Mount Kenya via Sirimon gate carrying light hiking snacks (Minute Maid Sodas, Apples and bananas, muffin cakes, and glucose)
- After the hike head back to Naromoru for lunch at Misty Mountain Lodge
- After lunch head back to Nairobi arriving and dropping guests in Nairobi at 1700hrs
