This park is one of the oldest and largest national parks in Kenya.
- Adventurous Game Drive
The park offers an amazing view of different wildlife species which can be done early mornings, late evenings, at night or full day game drives. During the morning game drive, expect to see a variety of wildlife species including elephants, impala, spotted hyena, giraffes, buffalo and many more. In the night game drives the most seen wildlife are the nocturnal animals like the leopards.
2. Aruba Dam
It is one of the oldest dams constructed in the colonial era and the third largest nature conservation. It serves as a water source for animals within the area making a good point to pass by during game drives as you will see elephants, zebras, giraffes among other wildlife whose habitation is near large water bodies.
3. Mudanda Rock
This rock is 1.5 km long and is said to be used for dying strips of meat and as a look out for the local communities. The top of this rock gives a 360 degree view of the park.
4. Lugard’s Falls
The fall was named after Lugard who volunteered for British diplomatic service and for his courageous act of helping out and was bitten by a crocodile in the process.
