“Hi, good morning, i would like to book two slots for the Tanzania road trip next weekend. How do i pay? Can i pay in full? You know i want to treat my gal this valentine and also ask for her hand in marriage. Would you arrange for a surprise proposal. Make it beautiful, it is my job to always make her smile.”

“Hello sir, yes you can book for two and we will make arrangements for your proposal. Congratulations by the way. Just give us details of how best you want it done. I will sending our till numbers and details about the safari in a  few minutes. What does she like and what details do you want in your surprise proposal?” The travel agent asked him.

“Buy a lot of flowers, pink and red, pink should be more. Also make her a red velvet cake, and some champagne, i will tagging two of her friends along. I want to make her the happiest woman on this planet on this day. She does not know of this, so i would appreciate if we kept it a secret.” he replied.

“Disclosure is our priority, we will do our best to make your day a success.” The agent replied.

“Kindly send me a budget of how much it’s going to cost me for both the surprise and the trip, send me so that i can make payments.” he continued.

“I will be doing that shortly, thank you for choosing to travel with us.”

The phone disconnected and he started planning for the day, this was the day he was planning to propose to his queen, the woman he had dated for an year. He could not imagine spending another minute without her in his life. Her name was Naomi, and she had been the best thing that ever happened to him.

The phone buzzed, I pushed it away but it didn’t stop. I opened one eye and looked at the time, it was 4.ooam in the morning and i needed to wake up.

I looked at where i am and i was in my bed, alone, not with my prince.

IT WAS JUST A DREAM. Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh, i thought to myself. It looks like i have seen so many soap operas. Ha ha, it was not her time yet, may be next valentine weekend, probably. ha ha.

I was tired of the weeks happenings. But this was going to be my weekend, where i would unwind and just let it go, for a moment i needed to breath.

I hurriedly prepared and got picked up and off we went to our pick up point.

I promise that this time there won’t be too much writing about this weekend. I will let the pictures and videos speak to you, ha ha, crazy, i know, but you are going to love it.

I needed some coffee, if i was going to survive this morning, i had only slept for two hours, doing what you ask, i can not point out exactly what i was doing, it was one of those doing nothing moments, can packing be considered as something? he he.

We arrive just in time as everyone else and i buy some coffee and snacks and off we go.

To where you ask?

The pictures will speak to you.

ha ha.

That ladies and gents, is where we were headed.

So we are at the boarder, getting our papers cleared and me and my ‘ka bae'(NW), ask to go to the washroom.

“Wanawake nyinyi hamna tabia, hamsemi mnapo enda, hamuamkii mnaopata. Msaidiwe vipi?”

We stood there clueless without knowing how to act, i swallowed and stood there and for like two seconds i could not talk. “Samahani, Habari gani? twaenda chooni, ni pande gani” I replied.

“Wakati mwingine mjifunze kuamkua wenzenu, ni pande ile.” the bold guy said sounding very disappointed with our behavior

“Twashukuru”

I swear this was the hardest time for me, when was i last time i spoke swahili sanifu? ha ha,

We were in a different country, a courteous country, a country where people cared how you are and where you going and if you needed help. Kenya ni kila mtu apambane na hali yake, as we say it.

I couldn’t help but laugh. That was so unexpected. I loved this country already. We should learn a few things from Tanzania.

It is a long journey, a tiresome one, but i knew it was going to be worth it.

Our first stop was at the Ndoro falls.

And then we headed to our hotel, Zebra hotel in Moshi. After we settled and refreshed we headed out for some dinner.

& this is where we got a taste of the good life, the better life. How can people be so courteous ?

Do you know what a straw in swahili is called? ‘Mrija’ I know you did not know, but know you do. ha ha

After we were done with dinner, it was time to get down.

Our Tanzania night life was lit. We represented to 254 to the maximum. Tanzania babes do not dance, there men not dance with girls because they are gentlemen, gentlemen do not go near women who are not their wives/girl friends. Kenyan men do you read this??? Ha ha..

Anyway it’s not like we enjoyed it anyway, we were the only ones getting down, but juu Mungu halali, we met another Kenyan group, and we had show to them how we do it. Ha ha. We met this light skin babe from Kenya obviously who should be Ms. Kenya, I swear she made me shout till I lost my mouth, because she represented us to the fullest. Diana, if you get to read this, thank you for representing 254, all mouths were agape, the club was on fire, & the shock on Tanzanians faces was priceless.

Conclusion this night is Tanzania, should give us Diamond. We will keep him safe for them. We promise to love him and support him. #on a light note. Its never that serious.

You ever wake up to the most amazing view ever like waking up next to the love of your life, this was even better, imagine waking up to this,

2nd day begins in style, & we can’t wait for what this day had for us.

And then we headed to the most fun thing I have ever done in my life, Kikuletwa springs.

I would have wished to leave right in this springs and not get out, just swim, eat, swim, eat & swim some more.

So i challenged some here, they thought i couldn’t swing and jump right into the springs. ha ha, shock on them,

I might have a phobia for swimming (which is not really a phobia because it’s just that am not really interested in knowing), but i don’t have a phobia for heights,

AM A RISK TAKER, ha ha, i just risk on everything that captures my interest.

Some people held their breath when i jumped, lol.

The fish massage was it.

Later, during the day we had to celebrate a February baby, EASE MY SAFARI is cool like that, i have said this again & will continue saying it.

We are the born to wild.

Every good thing always comes to an end, and by evening we were on our way back to +254..

It’s never a dull moment. The more I continue travelling the more I want it to do it over & over again.
