1. Watamu National Marine Park
This is the ‘haven of the green turtle’. This is one of the first marine parks in Kenya. The park has over 500 species of fish and the reserve has over 1000 species such as octopus, whale sharks, manta rays among others. It is also home for the turtle and has a nesting place for the endangered turtles.

2. Mida Creek
This is inland from the sea into the arabuko sokoke forest and is one of watamu’s treasures surrounded by extensive mangrove and palms. It is a stopover point for many migratory birds which makes it one of the most important and beautiful natural attractions on the Kenyan coast. It is accessible by boat. Make sure the sunset finds you in this destination to witness the water tuning gold as the birds fill up the sky.
3. Bio-Ken Snake Farm
The farm conducts research for preparations of anti-venom to treat victims of poisonous snake bites. There is a wide variety of both venomous and non-venomous snakes, it also educates more about snakes and how to handle snake bites as a person.

4. Spiaggia Delle Tartarughe
Get to see the dolphins and whale sharks and indulge in activities such as snorkeling and the most beautiful lagoons. See the beautiful underwater colors of the barrier and not to forget the sea turtles as well.
5. Che shale/ marafa hell’s kitchen
Catch the sunset in the eroded landscape that will take your breath away. The hells kitchen is an ols sandstone canyon that is said to be torn by wind, flood sand rain. The locals in marafa narrate the story of this place that is quite interesting to hear.
6. Splash the waters with Tribe watersports

7. Local Ocean Conservation
Learn how the simplest way to contribute in conserving the sea and sea life in general. Get to see the turtles in a large number as this is the main project in this conservation area as they believe the turtles are an indication of a healthy sea
