2. Vasco Da Gama Pillar.
This pillar is a historical monument built in the 14th century by a great Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama. It is open for the public and there are always guides to guide you through the history and the construction of the pillar.
3. Falconry of Kenya.
This is a private zoo featuring magnificent birds of prey that were some reduced injured and rehabilitated and other animals .You might get lucky and watch some birds performing thrilling flight shows. The birds in this zoo include; eagles, falcons, owls, goshawks among others. If you wish to carry some birds for some adventurous experience the guide will help you with that. The animals in this zoo include ;crocodiles, monkeys, snakes, tortoises and many more.
4. Sawasawa Dhow Water Fun.
This dhow was hand built from teak Mozambique and is authentic dhow in East Africa. An excursion with this dhow is a fun day full of water activities and of course delicious sea food on board. The excursion activities include swimming, sailing, snorkeling, fishing and diving.
5. Promote Nature At Kipepeo Project.
It markets butterfly and moth pupae and other insects as well as honey and silk clothing. This project promotes the living standards of people around Malindi. The sales ensure monitoring that the insects are bred and well raised.
6. Ndoro Sculpture Garden.
This garden is a hidden gem that holds a collection of modern African sculptures. Each piece of art and sculpture holds an interesting story for every ear. Some of the art world are for sale and are made by local talented people from the area. The sculptures are focused on human heads and some of various animals. Art lovers, you cannot afford to miss this place during your stay in Malindi.

7. Malindi Museum
This museum features temporary exhibits such as the famous Malindi coelacanth. It holds and narrates some Malindi historic features and some underwater archeology along the Kenyan coast. Learn more about the Mijikenda tribes, their way of life and even their way of worship.

8. Get Lost In Gedi Ruins And Museum
These ruins are historical and archeological sites near the Indian ocean. They are remains of a Swahili town. The museum is surrounded by beautiful indigenous forests, baobabs and tamarind. Have a walk around as you look out Sykes monkey and golden elephant shrews as well.
9. Arabuko Sokoke.
This is the largest and most intact coastal forest in East Africa. It holds species of butterfly, birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals and species of plant as well. The mammals in this forest are; African elephant, African buffalo, Sykes monkey, yellow monkey, golden-rumped elephant shrew.

10. Portuguese Chapel.
This chapel was erected by Vasco da Gama in 1498. It is located near the sea front in the town of Malindi. It is about 500 years old making it the oldest church in East Africa. Visit this chapel and see the interesting architecture and the vintage arts.
11. Mayungu Public Beach.
This public beach is one the most scenic sketches of Kenyan coast characterized by crystal clear waters. This spot is perfect to relax and unwind. Enjoy nice sun baths, walk on the beach and swim in the crystal waters.
