Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, often called “Naivasha’s best-kept secret” is one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya, a peninsula surrounded by water only accessible by boat from the East and Westside.
Crescent Island is located in the middle of the lake with miles of walking trails and abundant wildlife that provides a 360-degree view of Mt. Longonot to Hell’s Gate to the Mau Escarpment to Eburu and onto the Aberdares, the view simply blows your mind away.
For bird lovers, bring along your binoculars as there is plenty of birdlife to watch while experiencing close wildlife encounters and a boat ride around Lake Naivasha.

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha through The Forest, Kereita
- 06.30hrs Meet up and pick up at a designated pick-up point in Nairobi. Guests will be met and assisted by our Team Leader (s) & driver, departing Nairobi for Limuru to arrive at the Forest in time for the first zip line session.
- Undertake the ziplining activity which should last 3hrs.
- Later head out for a 1hr nature trail in the forest
- Guests should return in time for a buffet lunch at The Forest Restaurant.
- After lunch, guests proceed for a paintballing session and a break where individuals can undertake optional and self-sponsored activities like Horse riding, and archery before lunchtime.
- After all the activities we set out for a journey to Naivasha, checking in in time for dinner.
Dinner and overnight stay at the respective Naivasha hotel with dancing/ chat time around the bonfire later on at the campfire or hotel bar.

Day 2: Crater Lake and Hells Gate National Park
- Early morning breakfast set out for Crate Lake Game Sanctuary.
- Introductions, briefings, team bonding, games, and fun activities
- Thereafter proceed for a guided nature trail to the rim of Lake Sonachi (Crater Lake) & a game drive through the plains of the sanctuary to the shores of Lake Naivasha
The volcano crater lake is fringed with acacias and is highly regarded by the local Maasai who believe its alkaline waters help soothe ailing cattle. Several wild animals can be spotted across the conservancy including gazelle, giraffe, zebra, eland, baboon, buffaloes, and black and white colobus monkeys.
Enjoy impressive birds of over 150 species, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and gazelles among other wildlife on the plains surrounding the crater. Crater Lake Game Sanctuary is 10,000 acres and houses the famous hilltop grave where Happy Valley’s tragic heroine, Lady Diana Delamere, is buried with her last two husbands, Gilbert Colvile and Thomas Delamere.
- Head out of the Sanctuary and proceed to Mvuke Spa in Olkaria Geothermal Spa for lunch and a swimming relaxation and water sports in the hot pool till sunset.
In the evening you will be transferred to your hotel in time for dinner and an overnight stay at the respective Naivasha hotel with dancing/ chat time around the bonfire later on at the campfire or hotel bar.

Day 3: Crescent Island – Nairobi
- This will be the last adventure day and guests should check out of their rooms after breakfast.
- We head out to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, taking a boat ride for 1hr exploration at Lake Naivasha before we cross to Crescent Island.
The boat ride takes you to see the hundreds of birds in this lake including the diving African fish eagle which dives in the water to catch fish without ever missing. You will also go to the hippo pool and see the hippos as they swim and bleat inside the water while opening their mouths to over 180 degrees.
- Check-in at the Island & do a Guided walking, trailing, and picnicking on the island lasting 2-3 hrs
- Check out of the Island and head out for lunch at a local fish-eating joint along the shores of Lake Naivasha.
- Begin our journey back arriving and dropping guests in Nairobi by 1700hrs
